Deleting your account

How to permanently delete your PlatformWatch account and data.

PlatformWatch is operated by Platform Watch Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17338786), whose registered office is at Unit A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, England, IP28 7DE. Delete your account in the app

  1. Open the PlatformWatch app.
  2. Go to the Profile tab.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm. Your account and data are erased straight away.

Delete your account on the web

  1. Go to platformwatch.co.uk/account and sign in.
  2. Open your Account page.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

What is deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently and immediately remove:

In technical terms, deleting your account removes your sign-in identity and every database record linked to it, and erases your uploaded photos from storage.

What we keep

We do not keep personal data that identifies you after deletion, except where the law requires us to retain limited records (for example, to comply with a legal obligation or to resolve a dispute). Routine encrypted backups are overwritten on our provider's normal cycle. Anonymous, aggregated statistics that cannot identify you may remain. Separately, station reports normally expire automatically after about three hours and their photos are deleted at that point — whether or not you delete your account.

If you subscribe to VIP

Deleting your account does not by itself cancel a paid VIP subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play — those subscriptions are billed by the store, not by us. To stop being charged, also cancel the subscription through the store:
