Community Guidelines

PlatformWatch is a passenger-awareness tool. It exists to help passengers know what’s happening at their station and understand their rights — not to harass anyone or to help avoid paying fares. These are the rules everyone agrees to when creating an account.
You agree to
- Use the app for passenger awareness and safety only.
- Only take photos to verify the presence of station or on-train activity — capture the situation, not individuals.
- Post honest, accurate reports.
- Be respectful. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content.
You must not
- Post photos intended to harass, target, intimidate or identify specific individuals — including close-up photos of the faces or ID badges of officers, staff or members of the public.
- Post abusive, threatening, hateful, sexual, or otherwise objectionable content.
- Post false, misleading or malicious reports.
- Use the app to encourage fare evasion or any illegal activity.
- Impersonate others or post anyone’s personal information.
Moderation
- Any user can report a post or block another user from inside the app.
- Content reported or dismissed by several users is hidden automatically pending review.
- Moderators and admins can remove or correct content, and can block posting, suspend or ban accounts (and, where needed, the device).
- We aim to review reported content promptly (within 24 hours where possible).
Reporting a problem
To report objectionable content or a safety concern, use the in-app "⋯ → Report this content" option, or email jett@platformwatch.co.uk. In private messages, press and hold a message to report it, and use the "⋯" menu to block the sender. Reported content is reviewed by our team. Breaking these guidelines can result in your content being removed, and your account being blocked from posting or banned entirely.
